Stock

Another comment made about my promo material was the fact that people found it a bit uncomfortable to look at due to the design being printed on pure white card. They said it would benefit from printing on recycled stock as this would reflect the bodyshop values.

Below
I printed on recycled stock from the library, i think this works equally as well as the white matt i printed on. This stock is really easy to fold, so i think the production on this won't be too stressful.

Update on Leaflets

The same was said about the leaflets. They didnt look part of the set due to no elements of the 'i'm all natural baby' strapline not being on there. Also comments were made on the type setting. The capitals were making the text hard to read. Therefore others in my crit group suggested for changing type to lower case and also adding different weights of type would allow a bit of hierachy within the design.

They were right, the booklet works much better now.

Update on gift card

After the crit people had said the gift card didn't look as part of the set due to it not having any elements of the 'i'm all natural baby' strapline on the front. So i decided to change the tagline a bit from 'treat yourself' to 'treat your natural self' so i could incorporate my design onto there now, and make it work.

Final Bodyshop Stuff bar Leaflet

Again, i will re-shoot for the final images.

Final Print based stuff

These photos show the final print based promo material i've made so far for the bodyshop. I will re-take the photo's for my final images but i just thought it would be nice to see what i've designed so far as a set.

A3 mock up

The A3 size of the booklet is much better. Type fits on the front cover much better and its generally much better than the A4 size.

Development of booklet

I then thought of applying the colour onto the type rather than having a full bleed of colour. It works quiet nicely but i won't be able to tell until they are printed.

Development of booklet

I applied the colours which i picked up from the fruit onto the design. I think the colours are bright and work really well. However i'm beginning to question whether the colour is just too much because i have to bare in mind that the 'i'm all natural baby' strapline is going on the back of the booklet.

Mock up of booklet

The first mock up i did was on A4 paper. i think the booklets are really cute because they are small, but i think if they were a bit bigger it would benefit the design and the type a bit more as there is a LOT of information on there.

Layout

I've layed out the type the way i think it will work, let see what it looks like when i mock it up.

Idea of colour pallete

I picked up the colours from the fruit, i'm hoping to use these colours in my booklet.
